Senior Machine Learning Engineer Position Available

Starkey Hearing Technologies are looking for multiple full-time senior
machine learning engineers at its international headquarters located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
You will
-
proactively maintain a cutting-edge knowledge of modern machine learning techniques
-
proactively work with our customer facing teams to understand our customers’ concerns
-
proactively seek, generate and propose novel ideas to solve meaningful problems for our customers
-
proactively seek to file patent applications on your innovative solutions
-
rapidly build proof of concepts using Matlab or Python
-
effectively lead a small team of engineers to develop disruptive and innovative solutions and deploy them into our products in a timely manner
-
be compensated competitively based on your knowledge, skills and experience
-

You are
-
a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science or related field and 2+ years of applicable experience or an Master’s degree in electrical
engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science or related field and 4+ years of applicable experience.

an experienced professional with research and development experience in hearing enhancement or health and wellness monitoring algorithms
-
a highly effective engineer with strong technical leadership
-
excellent in oral and written English communication
-
excellent at interpersonal interactions
-
proficient in Java or C++
-
proficient in Matlab and Python
- familiar with TensorFlow, SCIKIT LEARN, TORCH, Keras or SPARK
- familiar with best practices in machine learning algorithm development
- highly knowledgeable about statistical pattern recognition and other modern machine learning techniques including deep learning
