[AUDITORY] postdoctoral fellowship



Postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroscience of hearing at Université de Montréal

We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher for a period of 1 year to work on a project on the neuroscientific bases of tinnitus, entitled “ Validating the gap-startle model of tinnitus detection using behavioural and electrophysiological tests in humans”. This project is funded by a grant from the American Tinnitus Association and is part of a collaborative work. The laboratory is located at the School of Speech pathology and Audiology of Université de Montréal and is an excellent opportunity to acquire experience with normal-hearing and clinical populations.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Hearing sciences, Neurosciences, Cognitive neurosciences, Cognitive psychology, Biomedical sciences, or related fields. Knowledge of EEG techniques and analyzes and Matlab is required. Speaking French is an asset but is not a requirement.

Start, duration, and salary. This is a one-year position starting in January 2019. Salary will be standard postdoctoral rates at Université de Montréal (about $3 200 CAD per month). Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
