Dear List,
Several Postdoc and PhD positions are available within a new international synergy project on hidden hearing loss. Positions are available in the areas of auditory physiology, psychoacoustics, MR imaging, and/or computational modelling.
The positions will be part of the collaborative research project UHeal between the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR), and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute at Harvard Medical School
(HMS). The project is fully funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The aim of the project is to develop MRI-based imaging techniques to detect noise-induced neuropathy in the auditory periphery and to investigate its consequences for perception and central
auditory brain processing. The synergy project combines cellular physiology, microstructural MRI, clinical electrophysiology, functional neuroimaging, psychoacoustics, and auditory modelling. Candidates with a background in any of these areas are invited to
apply.
