[AUDITORY] Introducing Neural Symphony: Make Music with Sounds of the Human Brain

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the release of Neural Symphony, a publicly available sample library of royalty-free neural sonfications that enables anyone to make music with sounds of the human brain.

We started by recording the brain’s response to each note of the piano. Then, using a simple process called “sonification”, these neural recordings were converted back to sound clips. These sound clips can be combined to re-create your favorite song or compose your own neuromusic. They could also serve as an educational tool for newcomers to neuroscience.

Users can download the sample library from the website below and compose music using their favorite computer software or music hardware.
