A postdoctoral position is available in the Auditory Cognition Lab at the Department of Neurology, University of Heidelberg, Germany. The focus of the DFG funded project is on the interaction of perception and attention in audition, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), magnetoencephalography (MEG), and tracking of pupil dilation. We are seeking candidates with strong interest in neuro-cognitive research with a PhD in systems neuroscience or signal processing methods. The candidate should have experience with FMRI, MEG/EEG, or behavioral hearing research. Sound programming skills (Matlab, Phython) and methodological background in EEG, MEG, or fMRI are desirable. Salary is according to the German TVL-13 (100%). The position is available for two years (options for an extension are available); earliest starting date is January 1st, 2018.
