[AUDITORY] Euronoise2018 | Noise and hearing aids: A bidirectional association

Dear List members,


We are excited to invite you to the special session “Noise and hearing aids: A bidirectional association” at the 11th European Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering - Euronoise 2018, which will be held in Hersonissos, Crete during 27-31 May 2018.


The session focuses on noise-related issues in the application of hearing aids and aims to bring together experts from academia and industry to share ideas and expertise within the following scientific areas:


     Noise induced hearing impairment

     Listening in noise for normal-hearing and hearing-impaired listeners

     Hearing aid signal processing

     Noise reduction algorithms (single-microphone processing)

     Directional algorithms (beamforming)

     Hearing protection (active earmuffs)

     Quality & Intelligibility Assessment of audio for HA/CI users in noisy environments

     Speech perception, linguistic and cognitive aspects of speech communication

 

We would be happy to receive your abstract through the congress website http://www.euronoise2018.eu. In submitting your abstract please indicate that your paper is invited in the session “Noise and hearing impairment: A bidirectional association”.


The deadline for the submission of the abstracts is the 15th of November and the deadline for the full-paper submission is the 15th March 2018. Please note that in order to access the online submission system you need to open an account in the conference website.


IMPORTANT DATES


NOVEMBER 15, 2017 : Deadline for the submission of abstracts

DECEMBER 15, 2017 : Notification to authors of accepted papers

MARCH 2018 : Deadline for early registration - Deadline for the submission of the full papers

APRIL 2018 : Announcement of the Conference Program

MAY 15, 2018 : Deadline for regular registration
