[AUDITORY] CfP: Online study on timbre

(apologies for cross-posting)

Dear all,

I am currently looking for experienced performers of the violin, clarinet, piano, and classical guitar (one of these instruments must be either their principal or second instrument) to complete a very short online survey on timbre verbalization. They must be native English speakers.

The survey is part of a new research project within the Audio Communication Group at the Technical University of Berlin. It involves listening to 4 short instrumental solo excerpts from recorded music, one at a time, and describing personal impressions of each instrument's sound. Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes

Here is the link to the survey, where you can also find more detailed info:

https://www2.ak.tu-berlin.de/musikstudie/survey/index.php/survey/index/sid/224548/newtest/Y/lang/en

Please consider taking a moment to fill in the survey (if you fit the participant profile) and/or to forward this call to students, colleagues, or friends.

Warmest regards,

Charalampos Saitis
