Dear colleagues!

Please note that you now have - as a result of different requests - one week more time to prepare your outstanding contributions to the sound quality and QoE-field for QoMEX 2017! —> extended full-paper deadline 12 February 2017!

We are happy to welcome you for the 9th International Conference on Quality of Multimedia Experience (QoMEX 2017) to be held from May 31 – June 2, 2017 in Erfurt, Germany. It will bring together leading experts from academia and industry to present and discuss current research on multimedia quality, quality of experience (QoE) and user experience. The conference will be held in form of oral, poster and plenary sessions, comprising dedicated special sessions on trending topics.

Important Dates

Full paper submission: February 12, 2017 (fixed extension by 1 week)
Full paper notification: April 4, 2017
Camera ready submission and early registration for full papers: April 30, 2017
Short paper submission: April 1, 2017
Short paper notification: April 25, 2017
Camera ready submission and early registration for short papers: May 7, 2017
Early Registration for non-authors: May 20, 2017

  • Model development & validation: Feature selection, model development techniques (regression, machine learning, …), validation techniques
  • QoE data analytics: Large QoE-related databases, data collection tools and techniques, machine learning, large-data analysis tools, implications for service and network management, visualization, statistical analyses, …
  • QoE-based network and service management: KPI and KQI definition for QoE optimization in emerging environments (5G, IoT, M2M, Cloud); control, monitoring and management strategies; QoE-aware Internet reference architectures; OTT/ISP QoE-oriented collaborations, QoE and net neutrality

  • Submission Procedure

Prospective authors are invited to submit full or short papers (6 or 2 pages, respectively). Submitted papers will undergo a double-blind review process. All papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings. Full papers will be published in IEEExplore.
