[AUDITORY] (deadline approaching) Post-Doc position at UCL Ear Institute

A postdoctoral research associate position is available at the UCL Ear Institute’s ‘Auditory Cognitive Neuroscience Lab’.  The project, titled "How the brain detects patterns in sound sequences", will be supervised by Dr Maria Chait and conducted in collaboration with Dr. Marcus Pearce (Queen Mary University, London) and colleagues at the UCL Wellcome Trust centre for neuroimaging.

The post is funded for 34 months in the first instance and involves a combination of behavioural, computational, eye tracking, and functional brain imaging (EEG, MEG, fMRI) experiments in humans. Key Requirements

The successful applicant will have a PhD in neuroscience or a neuroscience-related discipline and proven ability to conduct high-quality original research and prepare results for publication. Essential skills include excellent time-management and organizational ability; proficiency in computer programming and good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Previous experience with functional brain imaging, neural data analysis, psychophysical assessment, and/or auditory science or acoustics would be desirable.
