Assistant or Associate Professor of Audiology, University of Louisville School of Medicine The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery & Communicative Disorders, Program in Audiology is seeking applicants for a tenure or term- track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This is a 12 month
full time position. The Program of Audiology is an Au.D. only program; the only Au.D. program within the state of Kentucky. Primary responsibilities include: teaching audiology doctoral level courses, research, and student advising. The opportunity to provide
direct clinical service while also mentoring students is available dependent upon interest. The Program is housed within the Health Sciences Campus in downtown Louisville. Opportunities for multidisciplinary interactions abound. Currently, 30+ Au.D. students
are enrolled. Faculty within the Program in Audiology have the opportunity to provide clinical service (and recruit research participants) alongside our otolaryngology and speech language pathology colleagues within the School of Medicine faculty private
practice. Clinical services are provided in a downtown and suburban location, and beginning in 2018 we will also provide services in a state-of-the-art pediatric outpatient center. This center will be a foundation of interdisciplinary and innovative pediatric
care and will undoubtedly foster a creative clinical research environment. Additional clinical sites are numerous including acute care hospitals, a major pediatric hospital, two V.A. hospitals, a school for deaf and hard-of-hearing children, and private
practices. Preference will be given to candidates 1) with research and teaching interests in areas that compliment current Program strengths, 2) with research activity commensurate with their level of experience, and 3) who have the CCC-A, and are
