3-year PhD position, University of Zurich, Switzerland



Neuroimaging of Human Auditory Cognition and Communication

 

A PhD position is available in the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab (http://www.psychology.uzh.ch/en/chairs/kaneuro.html) at the Department of Psychology of the University of Zürich (Switzerland). Please see the attached document for more information on the position. Starting date for the position is June 2016 or later. Applications are accepted until the position is filled. Salary is according to the regulations of the University of Zurich.

 

Potential candidates are supposed to work on a project about the neural basis of auditory cognition and nonverbal auditory communication (i.e. neural processing of voices) using state-of-the-art neuroimaging techniques.

 

The University of Zürich provides an excellent research environment at the Department of Psychology (www.psychology.uzh.ch/index.html) as well as a multidisciplinary and interactive neuroimaging environment in the Neuroscience Center Zürich (www.neuroscience.ethz.ch) that also includes research dedicated brain imaging facilities.
