A temporary five-year position is being offered at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics (IEM), beginning on  October 1st 2016, for a

Professor in Acoustics and Audio Engineering

which, according to paragraph 99 of the Federal Act on the Organisation of Universities and their Studies and paragraph 25 of the collective agreement for university employees, is in the form of full-time employment with a contract for 100 % activity. Extension of the appointment is only permissible after an appointment procedure in accordance with paragraph 98 of the Federal Act on the Organisation of Universities and their Studies. The minimum monthly salary at present for this position amounts to € 4842,70 gross (paid 14 times per year). If necessary, the collective-bargaining provisions allow this amount to be raised in recognition of specific previous experiences.
