Dear list,
Queen's University Belfast has advertised a lectureship ear-marked for a
researcher in audio-related engineering/computation/science. For full
details, follow links from

Please pass this on to post-docs and lecturers researching in any
technical aspect of sound.
The Sonic Arts Research Centre is part of the School of Creative Arts
and researches both artistic and technical aspects of working with
sound. The custom-built facilities feature the "Sonic Lab", an
auditorium with a 3D-surround 48-loudspeaker set-up (including a ring
underneath the audience) as well as numerous smaller acoustically
treated spaces.

In our BSc in Music Technology, students currently study DSP, acoustics,
programming, psychoacoustics, and psychology of music alongside
composition, performance, recording techniques, and sound design.
Belfast is a great place to live: all the activity you would expect from
a small city, relatively cheap & safe, and easy access to stunning
countryside and coasts. There are direct flights to many destinations in
Europe, including the major hubs for travelling further afield.
The application deadline is 14 March.
