Auditory Model Workshop - 12/13 June 2015 - Oldenburg



Dear Members of the Auditory List,

 

The program of the Auditory Model Workshop is taking shape, and we welcome you to attend and contribute to the meeting (deadline April 30th), taking place on June 12/13th 2015 in Oldenburg, Germany

 

Confirmed Topics and Speakers are:

Cochlear filtering (Prof. C Shera)


Modeling Inner-Haircell Transduction (Prof. E Lopez-Poveda)


Brainstem Modulation Filtering (Prof. L Carney)

Speech Perception Modeling (Prof. J Allen)

Loudness Models (Dr.sc S Neely)


Binaural Modeling Challenges (Dr. M Dietz)

Modeling Hearing Impairment (Prof. M Heinz)

Decision Criteria (tba)

Each topic is introduced with an overview talk that covers the speakers’ work, state of the art in the field, and challenges and opportunities for auditory models. The overview talks are paired with a selected contributed talk on the same topic, after which discussion time is foreseen. We also plan a big poster session.

The meeting is limited to 60 participants, and after this number is reached you will be placed on a waiting list. We kept the meeting as low budget as possible such that the registration fee (190 euro) goes to the catering cost during the meeting. Payment instructions will be sent to you at a later time, after completing the registration.
