Faculty Search: 3 Cognitive Neuroscience positions, University of Western Ontario



The University of Western Ontario has advertised three new Faculty Positions in Cognitive Neuroscience. The possible starting date is as early as summer 2015. The application deadline is April 1 2015, or until positions are filled.

In short, the successful candidates will be appointed into an appropriate academic Department at Western and will be expected to establish and maintain a vigorous externally funded research program; teach and supervise undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral research trainees, and demonstrate the potential for developing innovative approaches within a collaborative research environment. They will also become members of Western's Brain and Mind Institute. Research facilities include a full range of high and ultra-high field, research-only, MRI scanners (3T, 7T, and 9.4T), fully equipped, state of-the-art laboratories for electrophysiological, cognitive and behavioural testing, a sleep laboratory, access to the facilities and expertise in the National Centre for Audiology and the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders and access to a large neurological patient population in affiliated teaching hospitals. Cognitive Neuroscience is a key area of research strength at Western University with more than 25 Principal Investigators and nearly 200 trainees in the Brain and Mind Institute.
