Faculty Search: Signal Processing for Cochlear Implants and Hearing Aids



The University of Texas at Dallas is presently recruiting for a tenure/tenure-track faculty member in the area of Signal Processing for Cochlear Implants and Hearing Aids. Research experience should include expertise in signal processing applied to speech, hearing science, physiology of hearing and engineering advancements for medical implant devices which aid in addressing hearing loss. Expertise is desirable in both algorithm development and system design that will contribute to applications relating to emerging healthcare domains.

 

This position is open across the Jonsson School of Engineering, and could include a split appointment between Departments depending on the candidate’s interests, as well as engagement with Speech & Hearing Sciences in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, and Callier Center.
