Dear colleagues,

I am looking for perspective graduate students interested in doing a Ph.D. starting before the end of 2015, on the theory of sound localization by the human/animal auditory system (some more info here). The thesis will be here at UPMC Paris, co-supervised by me at the earth science institute, and Q. Grimal at the Bio-medical imaging lab, and in collaboration with S. Catheline at INSERM-Labtau-Lyon. We are looking for motivated students with a good quantitative background. The project is part of the WAVES ITN (http://hestia.lgs.jussieu.fr/~boschil/waves.html) and is funded by the Marie Curie program (salary and funding are very competitive).
