Asst/Assoc Professor of Audiology/Hearing Science, Ohio State
University, Columbus, OH

The Department of Speech and Hearing Science at Ohio State invites
applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of
hearing science/audiology with a preference for individuals whose
research area is hearing aids and/or cochlear implants; however, all
areas of research will be considered.  Qualifications include an
earned Ph.D. in audiology, hearing science or a related field and
evidence of excellence in research and teaching.  Although not
required, this individual may hold certification and/or licensure in
audiology.  Duties and responsibilities include conducting research
and seeking extramural funding, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate
courses, advising graduate students and participating in related
scholarly activities.  The Department is housed in a well-equipped,
30,000 sq. ft. facility containing our research and clinic space,
including individual faculty laboratories.  The Department enjoys
close working relationships with other departments in Arts and
Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.  Applicants should submit a
