Job Description:
The work will involve the design and implementation of new algorithms for speech and audio coding in mobile applications. The successful candidate will work on the analysis of existing standards and the design of new techniques, e.g. in transform coding and stereo/mutichannel coding.
Required Skills:
- Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or applied mathematics
- Strong knowledge of digital signal processing and/or source coding/information theory
- Knowledge of classical speech/audio coding techniques (e.g. CELP, MDCT, psychoacoustic models) and/or speech/audio coding standards is desired
- Extensive experience with C programming, MATLAB is a plus
Salary: around 1800 â (net) per month
Start date: ASAP
