Research Associate Salary: £30,680 - £37,050 p.a., depending on qualifications
Fixed term appointment for one year (with a possibility of extension)
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral Research Associate to join the University Defence Research Centre (UDRC) in Signal Processing (http://mod-udrc.org/) at Imperial College London to work on a research project on sparse signal processing. This position is available immediately. The successful candidate will benefit from daily interaction with highly accomplished scientists with whom they will collaborate. The position offers a unique opportunity for a talented scientist to work in a dynamic and innovative environment and to develop their career at the interface of basic research and its applications.
The research focuses on adaptive compressed sampling of wideband dynamic signals. Both theoretical and experimental research are anticipated. A background in compressed sensing or sparse coding is highly appreciated, but anyone with general knowledge in signal processing or communications is qualified. UK nationality is expected.
