Ph.D. Opportunities in Speech and Hearing
Two studentships are available in the Speech and Hearing group in Computer
Science at the University of Sheffield, UK, for take-up from January 2002.
Topics are
* Maximum Entropy Modelling for the Summarization of Spoken Language
* Multisource decoding for speech in the presence of other sound sources
The studentships are associated with UK EPSRC-funded projects, and thus carry
sufficient funding to cover living allowances and tuition fees for UK or EU
applicants.
