Sound Analysis Tools Discussion ?

Hello,

My name is Thierry Rochebois, I am a doctoral student
at the Universite Paris Sud Orsay in France.
My research is about the analysis and resynthesis of
musical sounds.

Last year, I began a discussion on the list  about analysis tools for
sound processing and resynthesis that prooved to be interesting for many
people on the auditory list.

One year later, I would like to restart this discussion as things may have
evolved.

Is there anybody interested in this topic?
