FACULTY POSITIONS IN AUDITORY NEUROSCIENCE

Georgetown Institute for Cognitive and Computational Sciences,
Washington DC

Georgetown University seeks applications from qualified individuals
for positions (tenure-track and research-track) at all levels of
seniority in its newly created Institute for Cognitive and
Computational Sciences on the beautiful Georgetown campus.  Areas of
interest are in particular: neural mechanisms of higher auditory
processing, biologically oriented computational neuroscience, and
cognitive neuropsychology, including functional brain imaging.  The
institute is located in a new research building with state-of-the-art
animal facilities for higher mammals, including primates.  Generous
start-up funds will be available to successful candidates.

Georgetown University is one of the oldest academic institutions in
North America and has a strong commitment to the neurosciences.
Various collaborative ties exist with researchers at the nearby
National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.  Please send

POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN AUDITORY NEUROSCIENCE

Georgetown Institute for Cognitive and Computational Sciences,

Several postdoctoral positions are available in the Division of
Cognitive Neuroscience of the newly created Georgetown Institute for
Cognitive and Computational Sciences.  The institute is located in a
brand-new research building on the beautiful campus of Georgetown
University.  State-of-the-art animal facilities are available for
research on higher mammals, including primates.  Areas of interest are
higher auditory and visual processing, visual-auditory interactions,
and compensatory plasticity in the cerebral cortex.  Methods include
single-unit electrophysiology and optical recording in anesthetized as
well as awake monkeys and cats, and functional MRI in animals and
humans.
