We anticipate hiring a postdoctoral research fellow to work on EEG/intracra= nial EEG projects investigating how the human brain encodes complex and nat= ural stimuli (especially speech), and how that encoding is affected by atte= ntion, prediction, and multisensory input. Much of the work will focus on m= odelling brain responses to such stimuli in healthy, neurotypical adults = =96 including modelling how the human brain processes linguistic meaning. H= owever, there will also be opportunities to carry out research involving pa= tients with schizophrenia and adolescents/young adults with a diagnosis of = autism. The research fellow(s) will work as part of a multidisciplinary team includ= ing PIs, postdoctoral researchers and PhD/MSc students in both Engineering = and Neuroscience through the Hajim School of Engineering, the Department of= Neuroscience, and the Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience at the Universi= ty of Rochester Medical Center.
