Kind wishes Sahar I am seeking a PhD candidate to join the Groupe de Recherches sur =20 l=E2=80=99Analyse Multimodale de la Fonction C=C3=A9r=C3=A9brale (GRAMFC)= in Amiens, =20 France, to study the cortical representation of auditory rhythm =20 processing in newborns. The project relies on bimodal neuroimaging (fNIRS and HD-EEG) and =20 requires strong technical skills in neural data processing. Amiens is located approximately one hour from both Paris and Lille and =20 offers a calm yet dynamic student environment, with diverse cultural =20 opportunities. Application deadline: May 31, 2026 Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is fi= lled. GRAMFC (Inserm U1105) is an international leader in neonatal care, =20 particularly in pediatric and neonatal clinical neurophysiology, =20 high-resolution EEG (HR-EEG), and high-density NIRS (HD-NIRS), with =20 ongoing developments in fetal MEG. The laboratory brings together a =20 multidisciplinary team of neuroscientists, engineers, =20 neuropsychologists, intensive-care pediatricians, obstetricians, and =20 pediatric neurologists. It has developed innovative tools for the =20 acquisition and analysis of cerebral function in children, neonates, =20 and preterm infants. My research team focuses on the early development of rhythm =20 perception, with ongoing projects involving PhD students and =20 postdoctoral researchers, supported by multiple national and =20 international grants and collaborations. The successful candidate will =20 be integrated into a European and international research consortium.
