This project aims to develop datasets and models for multimodal representation learning and large audio language models, designed to meet the needs of content creators and viewers of audio captions for online media. Postdoc: We=E2=80=99re looking for someone who is self-motivated and collab= orative, with expertise in audio-language modeling and/or audio representation learning. This individual will be expected to take a leadership role in the project, aiding in the supervision of junior researchers working on machine listening, accessibility, and system development and evaluation. The successful candidate will be affiliated with NJIT=E2=80=99s SInC Lab (Newar= k, NJ) and hosted by NYU=E2=80=99s MARL (Brooklyn, NY), where the associate will b= e expected to spend most of their time.
