The conference will be held at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, May 6-9, 2026. The primary goal of this conference grant is to continue a series of exceptional international and interdisciplinary research conferences that address speech-communication challenges in older adults. The conference is organized around eight themes: =C2=B7 Age-related changes in auditory perception and physiology =C2=B7 Animal studies of aging and hearing =C2=B7 Aging and speech: production, perception, and understanding =C2=B7 Cognition and aging =C2=B7 Aging and multisensory perception and processing =C2=B7 Access to hearing health care =C2=B7 Hearing loss and hearing assistive devices (HA & CI) =C2=B7 Technological advances (Pharmaceuticals, AI, and more) The conference will be held at the Eric P. Newman Education Center which is located on the Medical Campus of Washington University in St. Louis.
