The successful applicant will support the MUSEMAP <https://musemap.org/> team in its cutting-edge research on music and emotion, musical aptitude, and related personality attributes in one of the most beautiful cities in the Alps, offering a blend of stunning scenery, rich history, and vibrant culture. Applicants will possess a relevant PhD, and have comprehensive knowledge in at least one of the key areas of the MUSEMAP research field, notably music perception and cognition, music-evoked emotions and affective computing, psychological assessment and test- development, as well as advanced knowledge of multivariate statistics (e.g. latent profile analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, ML models). The position will require 4 hrs of teaching/week. This can be initially delivered in English, but willingness to acquire German language skills is expected in the medium term.
