I am conducting a research study at Georgia Institute of Technology and we are currently recruiting participants for an online experiment on the perception of extended vocal techniques ( extreme metal vocals) and other vocal styles in music. The experiment is completely online, open to all music lovers (not just metal fans!), and takes about 15=E2=80=9325 minutes to complete. What will you do? - Listen to short audio clips of vocal performances - Type any lyrics you recognize - Imitate the vocal sounds using your microphone. To participate, simply follow this link: https://ccml.gtcmt.gatech.edu/VocalsPerception/ We want to explore what people really perceive when they are exposed to extended vocal techniques. Unfortunately, there is no compensation for your participation, but your contribution will be highly appreciated. All responses are anonymized and used solely for academic research. Questions? Contact: Alexey Voronin avoronin3@xxxxxxxx Thank you for your interest! https://ccml.gtcmt.gatech.edu/VocalsPerception/ --0000000000007f00a706398831ce Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">Dear list,<br><br>My name is Alexey Voronin, a Music Techn= ology grad student.<div><br>I am conducting a research study at Georgia Ins= titute of Technology and we are currently recruiting participants for an on= line experiment on the perception of extended vocal techniques ( extreme me= tal vocals) and other vocal styles in music.<br><br>The experiment is compl= etely online, open to all music lovers (not just metal fans!), and takes ab= out 15=E2=80=9325 minutes to complete.<br><br>What will you do?<br>- Listen= to short audio clips of vocal performances<br>- Type any lyrics you recogn= ize<br>- Imitate the vocal sounds using your microphone.</div><div><br></di= v><div><div>To participate, simply follow this link:</div><div><br></div><d= iv><br><a href=3D"https://ccml.gtcmt.gatech.edu/VocalsPerception/">https://= ccml.gtcmt.gatech.edu/VocalsPerception/</a></div></div><div><br></div><div>= <br></div><div>We want to explore what people really perceive when they are= exposed to extended vocal techniques.<br><br>Unfortunately, there is no=C2= =A0compensation for your participation, but your contribution will be highl= y appreciated.<br>All responses are anonymized and used solely for academic= research.</div><div><br>Questions?
