Dear List, it is my pleasure to invite you to join the international symposium "TU(R)N= ING SPACE - Analysis, synthesis and perception of kinetic auditory space in= music, art and hearing science" on 4+5 July 2025 in Munich or online. The = transdisciplinary symposium will discuss aspects of acoustic space, source = movement and the emerging sound source separation, pitch perception and spa= tial and dynamic re-synthesis of sounds with internationally recognized res= earchers in the fields of psychoacoustics, neuroscience, musicology, cultur= al studies and sound artists. Through topical sessions with two talks and a= moderated discussion, the transdisciplinary symposium will network across = the boundaries of the natural and cultural sciences and the arts and exchan= ge knowledge and experience between the fundamental sciences and the arts. = The emergence and representation of movement in audiovisual art, in particu= lar spatial electronic music installations, will also be highlighted in a p= ublic evening event.
