This work= shop brings together researchers interested in the neural decoding of speec= h and language to explore recent advances in modelling techniques and their= practical application. The workshop will feature talks and discussions led by experts in the field= , focusing on practical strategies and theoretical insights into techniques= such as ridge regression and mutual information analysis. In addition to f= ormal sessions, there will be an interactive poster session during the lunc= h break, providing a platform to share new results or works in progress. Wh= ether you're exploring how to apply neural decoding methods to your own res= earch or simply want to stay up to date with current approaches, this works= hop is designed to support learning and collaboration across career stages = and disciplines. Attendance is free for University of Cambridge students and staff (registra= tion required =96 please contact Richard Arlett at ra664@xxxxxxxx for the = password). If you have access to grant funding, we would be very grateful i= f you optionally selected the "standard registration" fee to contribute to = workshop costs. Non-Cambridge attendees are also welcome with a small registration fee to c= over catering costs and spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basi= s. We encourage all attendees to share a poster, although this is not requi= red. For full details and to register, visit our website: https://sites.google.com/cam.ac.uk/speechdecodingworkshop/home We hope you can join us for a day of stimulating discussion and community b= uilding in the heart of Cambridge.
