Dear all, The Healthy Ears, Limited Annoyance (HELA) initiative currently has a funding call open focussed on music-based annoyance, which may be of interest to people in the group. The call aims to support innovative, multidisciplinary feasibility studies that address gaps in knowledge relating to sound egress and noise pollution from music venues and events, with a particular focus on reducing the impact of event
sound on neighbouring communities while maintaining high-quality audience experiences. More details available here:
https://helainitiative.com/funding. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is Monday 12th October, so quite close, but it is very light touch at this stage with a single A4 form to complete. Funding for each project is up to a maximum £40k with projects to be
completed within six months. Please feel free to forward to others who you think might be interested. Best wishes, Sam Dr Samuel Couth | Senior Lecturer
