[AUDITORY] Join us for the 2026 Misophonia Collaboration Forum on 10/3/2026

Dear Auditory List,

On behalf of the Misophonia Research Fund (MRF), we are inviting you and your community to attend the 2026 Misophonia Collaboration Forum on Saturday, October 3, 2026 (https://miso.fund/CollabForum).

The Forum is a one-day interdisciplinary event, offered both in person in Atlanta, Georgia and virtually, that brings together researchers, clinicians, clinician-scientists, and the misophonia community to discuss emerging science, clinical advances, and priorities for the field.

Misophonia is a disorder characterized by decreased tolerance to specific everyday sounds or associated stimuli. This is an emerging area of research, and the field is experiencing rapid scientific and clinical growth. Many of the researchers entering the field each year bring expertise from adjacent disciplines, helping to accelerate progress through new perspectives and established methodologies. MRF also offers competitive funding opportunities to support innovative research, creating meaningful opportunities for investigators interested in applying their expertise to this growing field (learn more here).

Because sound tolerance and auditory processing are central to many individuals' experiences of misophonia, the expertise of audiologists, hearing scientists, and otolaryngology researchers is particularly valuable in advancing both scientific understanding and clinical care.
