Dear colleagues, This is a friendly reminder that submissions are now open for the Audiovisual Symposium 2026, which will take place on 26-27 November 2026 at Linköping University,
Campus Norrköping, Sweden. https://audiovisualsymposium.github.io/ We warmly invite researchers, educators, artists, practitioners, and doctoral students to contribute to the symposium by submitting either an extended abstract or
a pictorial. Extended abstracts: 3-5 pages (including references) or approximately 1 500–2 000 words. Pictorials: up to 8 pages and a maximum of 1 000 words. Submission deadline: 4 September 2026 We particularly encourage submissions of late-breaking and exploratory work, including emerging research, artistic investigations, technical developments, preliminary
findings, methodological reflections, and works in progress. We welcome contributions that stimulate discussion, invite feedback, and foster new collaborations across the broad field of audiovisual studies. We would be very grateful if you could share this call with interested colleagues, networks, and students. We look forward to receiving your contributions and welcoming you to Norrköping in November 2026.
