Thread-topic: IHCON 2026: Now Accepting Abstract Submissions

Dear Members of the Auditory Research Community,

We are pleased to announce that the IHCON 2026 conference website (ihcon.org) is now ready to accept abstract(s). Abstracts for all invited and contributed presentations must be received no later than Wednesday April 1, 2026. IHCON 2026 is scheduled to take place on August 5–9, 2026 (Wednesday to Sunday) at our new location, the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

All abstracts must be submitted electronically at the IHCON.org website. You will need to create a profile if you do not have one already. Once logged in, you can proceed with your submission(s) by clicking on the SUBMISSIONS tile. For those who are eligible, up to one abstract submission can be used to apply for a Sig Soli Scholarship (details and eligibility requirements can be found here).

If you are a junior investigator (including advanced graduate students, postdocs, and junior scientists in industry and academia), you can choose to apply for the International Hearing Aid Seminar (IHAS) pre-meeting taking place on August 3–5, 2026 (Monday to Wednesday).

Please feel free to forward this announcement to any of your colleagues who might be interested in attending IHCON but might not have received this announcement. A flyer is attached if you wish to post the announcement.
