Monita Chatterjee and I are organizers of a special session titled "Processing of Affective Sounds: Intersection of Audition and Emotion" scheduled to be held at the 190th meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 11-15 May 2026. The meeting will be held as an in-person meeting only. The Meeting Announcement and Call for Papers appear online at https://acousticalsociety.org/philadelphia.
We especially invite early-career researchers - we hope to have more speakers and also a poster session adjacent to our session, on the same topic.
