Dear Colleagues,
together with the RNID (https://rnid.org.uk/) we are working at exploring ways to facilitate rapid adoption in clinical care of technology/tools related with hearing (assessment, rehabilitation, etc). I am looking for 2-3
tools (possibly software only) that are ready to use (e.g. already compiled for iOS, Android or any other widely-used OS), easy to use (i.e. they can be used independently by an audiologist without extensive training), free to use (at least in this first stage),
and possibly that they also address specific known challenges in clinical audiology (e.g. assessing hearing beyond PTA). Ideally these would be research tools that have been implemented and validated within the lab, and are possibly also currently used for
research purposes.
The initial work will be carried out here in the UK, therefore looking at UK audiological practices and NHS mainly.
If you and/or your lab happen to have something ready that matches the description above, could you please contact me within the next couple of weeks?
Thanks!
