Re: [AUDITORY] Request for Recommendations: Power Supply and Preamp for Knowles FG-23329 Microphone

Dear Sathish,

I would highly recommend that you go with a pre-assembled system. Here is one example, also well recommended, which provides that microphone already connected to a phantom-powered pre-amp and XLR connector:

This was originally designed for use in the BiLi project (https://www.bili-project.org/) for HRTF dataset acquisition some years ago and now they sell it as a product.

Best regards,

-Brian

Objet : [AUDITORY] Request for Recommendations: Power Supply and Preamp for Knowles FG-23329 Microphone

Dear List,

I am currently working on a research project that involves capturing the HRTF of test subjects. Based on a review of the literature, I found that the Knowles FG-23329 microphone is commonly used for this purpose. However, I am having difficulty identifying compatible power supply options and suitable preamplifiers for this microphone.

I would greatly appreciate any recommendations or suggestions for compatible power supplies, preamplifiers, or alternative microphone solutions that could serve a similar purpose.

Thank you

Kind regards,
