[AUDITORY] Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Psychology at the University of Innsbruck

We have one full-time post-doc position for the duration of 4 years available and welcome applications from candidates interested in working on research projects at the intersection of music, emotion, and personality.

The successful applicant will support the MUSEMAP team in its cutting-edge research on music and emotion, musical aptitude, and related personality attributes in one of the most beautiful cities in the Alps, offering a blend of stunning scenery, rich history, and vibrant culture. Applicants will possess a relevant PhD, and have comprehensive knowledge in at least one of the key areas of the MUSEMAP research field, notably music perception and cognition, music-evoked emotions and affective computing, psychological assessment and test- development, as well as advanced knowledge of multivariate statistics (e.g. latent profile analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, ML models). The position will require 4 hrs of teaching/week. This can be initially delivered in English, but willingness to acquire German language skills is expected in the medium term.
