Colleagues, Philippe Vincent and I are looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow with electrophysiology experience to investigate normal and disordered afferent and efferent signaling mechanisms in the inner ear.
We use an array of techniques to investigate the functional properties of damaged and regenerated/repaired synapses, including cell culture techniques; cellular physiology/patch clamp, optogenetic stimulation, confocal and multiphoton calcium imaging, voltage
sensor imaging; anatomy (immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy). The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of these techniques and a working knowledge of the auditory system.
The full job description is attached. Please reach out to me with questions.
