    AM.ICAD Audio Mostly & ICAD Joint Conference 2025, Coimbra,

    The AM.ICAD Conversations are a 1.5-hour format that offers valuable
    and high-quality structured discussions on research topics important
    to the AM.ICAD field and that cannot be easily captured by a
    research paper.
    
    The conversations provide an environment to engage a limited number
    of participants in a constructive dialogue to arrive at new
    understandings on a particular topic or research agenda. The overall
    aim is to have a series of stimulating and provocative sessions that
    have the potential to advance emergent forms of research and design
    approaches and to identify future questions for the AM.ICAD
    community.
    
    We are particularly interested in proposals that bring together
    diverse perspectives, are experiential in nature, and that will
    productively challenge our assumptions of what the topics and forms
    of interacting, researching and designing with sound are, or could
    be, including e.g. research and methodology issues, societal
    challenges and design aspects. This year’s theme is “Let’s Play
    Together”, proposing to explore perspectives of play within sonic
    research, and from we expect that a variety of Conversations will be
    accepted and discussed.
