[AUDITORY] Auditory Science - Community Building

Dear colleagues,

We are facing a precarious situation for biomedical research in the USA, with many other issues that are impacting our community of students, scientists, and researchers, in academia, clinic and industry. While there is still much to be learned about the ultimate impact of changes at the federal level, there are many clear implications for our communities.

We are reaching out to start a series of open discussions towards building community, offering information where available and support. Our goal is to discuss how we can respond to the situation, support our emerging scientists, and find ways ensure that our field survives the coming changes.

If you are interested in joining an email group that will be set up to advertise zoom meetings for the community, please enter your contact details here: [https://uwmadison.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eyZjjuYtb2Jv4Ym]

We are currently planning on the following initial meetings over zoom:

  • May 14th 1pm Eastern time
  • May 28th 4pm Eastern time
  • June 11th 1pm Eastern time

Zoom links will be sent out to those who provided contact details.

Hoping that you are keeping well, with our best wishes,
