[AUDITORY] Listening Experiment on Melodic Similarity

Dear Auditory community,

— apologies for cross-posting —

We are researchers from the Music Technology Group (MTG) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and we are conducting a study on how people perceive sound and recognise similarities between different audio clips. We would like to invite you to take part in a short experiment that will help to improve our understanding of how humans process and compare auditory information 🧠🎶

The experiment is available in both English and Catalan, and the total duration is approximately 20 minutes. Please, use headphones for the best sound quality and perceptual evaluation 🎧

Access the experiment in your preferred language:

• Englishhttps://mtg.upf.edu/similarity-exp-en/

• Catalanhttps://mtg.upf.edu/similarity-exp-cat/

Your collaboration would be very valuable for our research and will contribute to a better understanding of auditory perception. If you have any questions or need more information, do not hesitate to contact us at Lena M. Melo (lena.munoz01@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and Roser Batlle Roca (roser.batlle@xxxxxxx).

Thank you so much for your time and support.

Best regards,

Lena and Roser
