JOB SUMMARY The Auditory Perception and Neuroscience Lab (PI: Akshay Maggu, Ph.D.) at the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Connecticut is seeking a research audiologist/postdoctoral fellow to join their team to work on projects investigating central auditory processing using behavioral, physiological, and electrophysiological measures. The position is available for immediate start, initially for 1 year, but can be extended for another year. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Behavioral and electrophysiological data collection - Data analyses - Dissemination of results via presenting at conferences and writing manuscripts - Development of IRB protocols - Collaboration with other postdocs, grad students, and undergraduates in the lab - Other project-relevant tasks assigned by the PI MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. At the time of joining, the candidate will have completed their requirements for their clinical/research doctorate (e.g., Au. D., Ph.D.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Clinical certification (ASHA CCC-A or ABA certification); Experience working with EEG and pediatric populations is desirable. APPOINTMENT TERMS This is a full-time, end-dated, one-year appointment.
