About the Position - Host institution: Department of Signal Theory, Telematics, and = Communications, University of Granada, and Virgen de las Nieves = University Hospital. - Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or = mathematics, experience in MATLAB programming, proficiency in Spanish = and English (C1 or higher), and the ability to work in a = multidisciplinary team. - Preferred qualifications: Experience in signal processing, machine = learning, EEG recording, psychoacoustic measurements, audiology, = scientific research, and dissemination. Candidates holding a PhD will be = given special consideration. - Training will be provided where necessary to ensure successful = completion of tasks. Key Responsibilities - Preparing the ethics committee approval application. - Conducting literature reviews. - Designing and implementing psychoacoustic and electrophysiological = experiments. - Recruiting participants with normal hearing and hearing difficulties. - Collecting and analyzing data. - Developing an automatic classifier using machine learning. - Contributing to scientific publications and conference presentations. - Preparing materials for scientific dissemination.
