Our lab stu= dies middle ear mechanics in normal, diseased and reconstructed ears. The re= search fellow will be conducting research in finite element modeling of huma= n middle ear biomechanics using the-state-of-the-art Synchrotron Radiation-b= ased X-ray Phase-Contrast Imaging (SR X-PCI) data of the middle ear collecte= d at the Swiss Light Source of the Paul Scherrer Institute.
