We are an emerging ne= twork of faculty/students/postdocs/clinicians/engineers working in the hea= ring/balance/speech/language science areas who are members of BIPOC/underre= presented minority groups. The idea is to provide a space for us to network= , share resources, and support each other. We are having a meeting this Friday that is focused on clinical BIPOC train= ees, the challenges they encounter, and the resulting isolation. We would = like to start a mentoring group focused on BIPOC clinical traninees and ser= ve as a resource. We are meeting via zoom on Friday, August 30th at 4:00-5:00 Eastern Time zo= ne.
