We are accumulat= ing hundreds of voice/speech recordings in our patients each month, as well= as quantitative gait and eye tracking data. We have federal funding to use= these to detect and monitor disease, for example: * Voice/Speech: Develop deep learning models using remote voice recordings = to monitor neurodegenerative diseases like frontotemporal dementia. * Text: Apply natural language processing to transcriptions to detect early= signs of Alzheimer's disease. * Gait Analytics: Predict falls and response to interventions using quantit= ative gait metrics. * Eye Movements: Use eye-tracking data for prognostication in atypical park= insonian disorders. As noted in the job posting, a candidate with proficiency in python is pref= erred, but most signal processing / engineering / physics / statistical bac= kgrounds will be accepted.
