These are part-time teaching position that allow PhD candidates to complete a PhD part-time (over 6 years), with fees waived. Candidates should have a strong interest in gaining teaching experience. Several auditory-related potential PhD projects <https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/schools/psychology/phd-studentships> are available, e.g. : * "Functional parcellation and characterization of human auditory cortex using multimodal imaging" (main supervisor: Julien Besle) * "Spatially-accurate ultrasound stimulation of topographically-organized sensory cortex" (supervisors: Julien Besle, Giorgio Ganis and Elsa Fouragnan) Other auditory-related PhD projects can be considered, especially if they include a neuroimaging component. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, as the university is unable to sponsor work visas for these positions. (We'll soon also advertise full-time PhD studentships also open to non-UK students). Interested candidates should contact me (julien.besle@xxxxxxxx) as soon as possible to discuss a potential project, as the deadline is in less than a month (May 19).
