It will take place=20 atHotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg=20 <https://www.austria-trend.at/de/hotels/schloss-wilhelminenberg>, a=20 former grand imperial retreat with a spectacular view over Vienna.=20 Participants will be accommodated on site in order to create an intimate=20 atmosphere and stimulate close exchange of ideas. The topic of ISH2025 will be: *Advances in Auditory Physiology,=20 Perception, and Cognition* ISH meetings have a long tradition of bringing together researchers from=20 different areas of hearing science, including psychophysics, physiology,=20 and auditory modeling. The ISH2025 will be open also to the emerging=20 field of auditory cognitive neuroscience. Consistent with previous=20 format, we invite innovative unpublished contributions from any of these=20 areas. Contributions will be considered for either oral or poster=20 presentation. Besides established researchers, we also encourage=20 contributions from younger researchers (e.g., late PhD phase) for whom a=20 reduced registration fee will be offered by means of studentships. Decisions on contributions will be based on extended abstracts (400=20 words). The number of accepted contributions (podium presentations and=20 posters) will be limited to approximately 70-80. Authors of accepted oral presentations will have the opportunity to=20 submit an associated publication in an ISH2025 Special Issue, which will=20 be published in the peer-review open-access journal Trends in Hearing=20 <https://journals.sagepub.com/home/tia>. Deadline for submission of full=20 papers will be after the symposium, in early fall 2025. There will be a=20 50%-discount on publication fees (publication will be exclusively=20 online). To avoid publication delays, the manuscripts will be published=20 on a rolling basis. *Important dates*: Abstract submission: November 1, 2024 Abstract deadline: December 15, 2024 Acceptance decision and opening of registration: January 15, 2025 Registration deadline: February 12, 2025 For further information and updates, see the preliminary ISH2025=20 <https://www.oeaw.ac.at/en/ari/das-institut/veranstaltungen/ish2025>websi= te. *Organization Committee*: =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Bernhard Laback =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Piotr Majdak =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Robert Baumgartner =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Martin Lindenbeck =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Geraldine Ramphal *International Steering Committee*: =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Matthew Goupell, University of Maryland, Depa= rtment of Hearing and=20 Speech Sciences =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Philip Joris, KU Leuven, Laboratory of Audito= ry Neurophysiology =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Katrin Krumbholz, University of Nottingham, H= earing Sciences =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Virginia Best, Boston University, Department = of Speech, Language &=20 Hearing Sciences =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Maria Chait, University College London, Ear I= nstitute =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Sarah Verhulst, Ghent University, Hearing Tec= hnology Lab =E2=80=A2=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Christopher Brown, University of Pittsburgh, = School of Health and=20 Rehabilitation Science Bernhard Laback --=20 Doz.
